The Holy Qur’an Heralds Peace and Friendship
It is important to note that insulting in general, and desecration of sanctities in particular,
has nothing to do with ‘freedom of expression’, which is everyone’s right, and is rather
an unethical and inhuman act that is condemned in the view of every school of thought. The
reason is that no one has the right to cause unnecessary pain
and suffering to any human being, but in this case, millions of people around the globe have
been subjected to unnecessary pain and suffering.
